The latest line of Cleansui water filter jugs can now be used with eco-friendly refill filter bags that contain ion exchange resin and activated carbon to filter limescale, soluble lead, chlorine and odours from drinking water. The introduction of such a refill format means the solution produces less waste while benefiting from the reduction of limescale to improve the taste of food and beverages (such as tea and coffee) and increase the lifetime of domestic appliances (such as kettles and coffee machines).
The company’s patented Hollow Fibre Membrane microfiltration technology removes contaminants larger than 0.1 microns including harmful bacteria such as E. coli and coliform or rust and heavy metals. Cleansui filters also remove algae, fungi and other micro-organisms. By comparison, some leading water filter brands widely available across Europe provide far less particle filtration.
“Cleansui water filter jugs provide a very attractive alternative to bottled water or less advanced water filter jugs. Offering a superior level of microfiltration that removes 99.99% of bacteria from tap water, you can be certain of clean water every time you use Cleansui filters,” said Simon Keighley, Brand Manager for Cleansui at Verbatim.
Cleansui’s compact tap mounted filters are also being displayed at Aquatec. With a lever to allow users to effortlessly switch between filtered or unfiltered water, the devices employ filter cartridges that are effective for 3 months based on 10 litres of filtered water per day. They are joined by the brand’s built-in filtration system that comes with an elegant tap and entire under sink system to fit any high standard kitchen, providing a continuous supply of high quality filtered water for approximately 12 months.
